The latest report, Scaling Strategies: Innovations That Work, presents a collection of key insights, practical guidance, and case studies developed through the Zero Project Scaling Solutions Programme.

Funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and supported by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, the report explores what it takes for disability-inclusive innovations to move from promising pilots to scalable, sustainable impact. The publication will be distributed for the first time at the Global Disability Summit 2025 in Berlin.

Over the past 12 years, Zero Project research has brought to light what makes an innovation meaningful for disability inclusion—but also the limitations of innovation alone. For this report, the Zero Project focused on how to scale up (grow, copy, replicate) innovative solutions that have already proven effective. This research involved experts and features 24 case studies of organizations, each of which is already active in transferring its solution to other countries or regions.

This report offers no simple solutions, but it does highlight models that have already demonstrated both impact and the ability to scale.
